Has the Superbowl Replaced Mecca
Now I know this may or may bot be proper but I am watching the Superbowl now, and I was thinking about what this one game means to the country. This game is an American collective pause. Even if you aren’t a football fan, you watch the Superbowl, even if it is just for the commercials. Everyone wants to see what Danica Patrick‘s new Go Daddy.com commerical will be like, and what the new beer commercial is. This game to America is a religious experience for Americans. Hell there is even a rock concert in the middle of it. This game has turned into more than a tradition for Americans. This game has turned into a reminder of what it means to be an American. We defeat our enemy and then when that is over, we listen to music and drink a beer. I hope that all of my readers out there enjoy the Superbowl and think about what this game means to this country. Oh and th Who kicks ass.
