Italian Google Executives Convictied for Privacy Violations

What is Google’s responsibility for what is uploaded on to the internet?  What are internet service provider‘s responsibilities for what other people do?  An Italian Court has ruled four executives, including the former head of Google Italy liable for privacy infractions for allowing a video of a child with down syndrome being bullied while students watched to be uploaded on the internet and for the video to stay up on the internet.  The executives were given six month suspended sentences, pay fines, and publish the decision in the Italian press.  Here is an example of a government trying to play a role in protecting those who are on the internet videos, but where is the line.  Where is the line when millions of videos are published on the internet, will all internet service providers be sued, is the new frontier of the internet closing.  These are questions we will all be watching.
