Just two months after protests began, the parks in New York are nearly empty. And yet, the Occupy Wall Street war chests have nearly $450,000. What should they do now? What does this kind of money do or say for this organization that is clearly becoming more and more mainstream and less about a place?
I have read all over the blogosphere about Occupy Wall Street supporting candidates, other movements, and things of that nature. Truth be told, why not help the people with this money? Money talks and we all know it. Rather than paying yourself, help others. Make your position known. We have a generation of people who will listen to whatever the leaders of this movement say, so why not say something? Look at the support that protesters get all over the country. Take that money and take that political clout and do something with it before it runs out.
