Mitt Romney is trying to fire up his base

Mitt Romney is looking to fire up his base. He is trying to throw the promises of President Obama back in the faces of the voters.  While Obama supporters try to be negative, we hear of guerrilla-like political tactics coming from the Romney camp. They are trying to drown out the voices of those who would say anything negative about him.  Romney’s team’s attempt to make an iPhone app has been a bit comical. His tactics are working. Mitt Romney is taking the lead with younger politicians and younger voters.  The people are hearing Romney’s message.

In 2008, many marvelled at Obama’s use of speeches and social media to fire up his base. These tactics won him the Presidency.  President Obama’s team’s campaign strategy outwitted John McCain’s team. The American people were educated about the future policies of the Obama administration with social media.

Will the Obama people stop playing negative?  I hope so.  The problem is, in politics, negative works. Especially with the uninformed voter.  I am curious to see what the summer brings in this election.
