Donations are made in many ways now. When the tragedy struck in Hati all we could do was donate money. One avenue of donating was texting. All you had to do was text to a specific number. You could choose the amount of money you wanted to give the Red Cross.
This form of donating has come to the realm of Presidential politics. The Federal Election Committee approved donations by text on June 12th. This ruling could be great for grass-roots candidates. I am hoping that I won’t be barraged with texts by political candidates the week before the election.
