Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) had a baby boy. He was born on July 22nd at 4:24 pm London time and weighed 8 lbs, 6 oz at birth. The reporters, I think, were all waiting for her to have a girl. In 2011, the law of male primogeniture was changed. So now it doesn’t matter if you have a boy or a girl first. The first child would be the next in line to the throne. I can’t wait for a monarch to have fraternal twins, and the girl to pop out first. This royal baby, at the time I am writing this article, doesn’t have a name yet. But most are guessing James or George. But it really doesn’t matter too much, since English Kings like to change what they are known by when they become King. Most believe that Prince Charles will be known as King George. So, go on, Will and Kate, if you read this, name your child Zachary, he’ll just change it anyway after you’re dead.
Why is this baby so important to so many people? A mother gave birth, no big deal, right? The truth is, in this day and age, when there is so much sadness in the world, so many wrongs, nothing can be more right than two people who love each other getting married and having a baby. These two are different from other celebrities, in my opinion, because you know that they have worked at their love and took their time before getting married and now deserve all the happiness and well wishes at this wonderful time in their life.
So Wills, Kate, and Prince Baby No Name, congratulations and may you all stay happy and healthy!
